Our team of actuaries, analysts and data scientists deliver a fully bespoke risk modelling package. We enable our clients to gain an ‘edge’ over price forecasting and limit purchasing, as well as providing important insights into their portfolios using interactive visualisations and analytics on secure portals.
NATURAL HAZARDS – CAT MODELLING
The Analytics & Modelling team provide Catastrophe Modelling from single property locations to global client portfolios, specialising in considered evaluation and explanation of the complex area of catastrophe peril assessment in the insurance and reinsurance market. Using proprietary tools and cutting edge analytic methods we are able to bring client data to life.
ACTUARIAL & ANALYTICS
Our actuarial & analytics capability combines traditional actuarial methods with the latest data science techniques to provide understanding for our clients. Using a wide range of methods from actuarial projections, market pricing methods, Monte Carlo simulations, data visualisation and the latest machine learning techniques, we make use of these tools to help optimise our clients’ needs in today’s marketplace.

Alexander Hanks MA FIA, Head of Actuarial & Analytics
Alexander is a Fellow of the Institute of Actuaries (FIA) and holds an MA in Mathematics and a postgraduate diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge.
Minh Phan, Data Scientist
Originally from Australia, and joined Price Forbes in March 2020, Minh holds a distinction in an MSc in Data Science.
Dr Gharchia Abdellaoui, Data Scientist
PhD in Mathematical Physics from SISSA in Trieste, Italy, and an MSc in Theoretical Physics from the University of Oran. Gharchia joined Price Forbes in April 2020.
Aran Kelly, Data Analyst
Aran joined Price Forbes in February 2021 and holds an MSc with Distinction in Computational Finance from UCL.
