Prior to the purchase of the business, assets and ‘Price Forbes’ brand by the management of Price Forbes & Partners Limited, James led the combined non marine groups for the merged Price Forbes Limited and Prentis Donegan & Partners Limited under the ownership of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc. Previously, James joined Prentis Donegan & Partners Limited in 1998 to help develop and subsequently lead its non-marine group.
James started his career in 1983 in London at Sedgwick, joining as a broker of property programmes for North American corporations, placing business into Lloyd’s and European markets and became a Director of Sedgwick North America Limited before moving to Prentis Donegan.
James was appointed to the Board of the London and International Insurance Brokers’ Association (LIIBA) in June 2019.
Antony was appointed Chief Financial Officer of Ardonagh Specialty in February 2019. He has held numerous senior finance and commercial executive positions across a number of key industries, including FTSE 100 Telecoms giants BT and France Telecom and private equity industry Oakley Capital. He was appointed Group Finance Director for the Ardonagh Group in March 2018.

David Baxter is the Chairman of the Marine, Energy & Natural Resources team at Price Forbes & Partners Ltd, and he joined the company in September 2009. He has over 40 years’ experience in insurance.
Prior to joining Price Forbes & Partners, David was head of the energy practice at HSBC Insurance Brokers. In 1989 David joined Heaths as a Divisional Director of Heath Oil and Gas Limited and in 1996 he became Joint Managing Director of the team.
From 1983 – 1989 David worked for Sedgwick Offshore Resources where he was a member of the technical client team involved in handling, broking and servicing oil and gas clients worldwide and later became Director of the 10-strong technical team.
David began his career in 1970 at C.E. Heath and Co, working within the technical and broking areas both in London and regionally.
David is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII) and was awarded the CII EA Kingsmill Prize for Marine Underwriting and Claims in 1974.
Paul Kearns is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Price Forbes & Partners. Paul joined in 2006 following the acquisition of Prentis Donegan & Partners where he was a Director of Marine. Alongside his client facing and production role, Paul overseas the facilitisation, market performance, broking and reinsurance strategy of the firm.
Richard Peers is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Price Forbes with responsibility for the Property, Professional and Financial lines, Casualty, Life Science and Healthcare teams.
Richard has over 30 years’ experience in marketing of complex North American accounts, with specialty underwriters in London, Bermuda and the USA.
Prior to the formation of Price Forbes & Partners Limited, Richard was a Board Member of Prentis Donegan & Partners, with responsibility for the Casualty team.
Richard Started his career at Sedgwick Group PLC in their claims department, progressing through to policy work, program placement and ultimately to production.
During his career he has lived and worked in the USA both as a retail and wholesale broker, and more recently lived in Bermuda where he ran the Price Forbes Bermuda office.
Having joined Price Forbes in September 2015, Greg is Deputy Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for leading the strategic growth of Price Forbes on the International stage. Greg is also a member of the Price Forbes Executive Committee and sits on the Digital Board.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the London market, working as both a Lloyd’s underwriter and broker in a wide variety of specialisms. His most recent role before joining Price Forbes was Managing Director of Global Casualty at Howden.
Greg has travelled extensively for most of his career, developing and working with clients in Latin America, Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and parts of Africa. He has worked in the retail, wholesale, and reinsurance markets, along with building Captive solutions and the placing of their reinsurance programmes. His experience has crossed most product lines and he specialises in large, complex client solutions, including working with a number of Fortune 500 listed clients.
Alex Gilmore is an Executive Director of Price Forbes. He joined the company 20 years ago to form the International Division, with previous experience including seven years in Germany as well as time working for Sedgwick in London.
Alex is now responsible for the Asia Pacific regional strategy as well as continuing to oversee some major clients from that region. He also represents Price Forbes at the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) via his voluntary Board role as Treasurer.
Tim Savill is Head of Claims at Price Forbes & Partners, and has over 34 years’ claims experience as a broker, negotiator and manager. He is responsible for heading up the 30-strong claims team and has significant experience in; non-marine property and casualty; marine hull, P&I liabilities, energy and power, nuclear and construction claims.
Previously, Tim was Claims Manager at Gibbs Hartley Cooper and prior to that, Claims Assistant at Frizzell Bolton Hicks, where he started his career.
