Price Forbes expands property team with senior hire

Price Forbes announces that Suvimol Sathanart has been appointed as head of property, Asia, effective immediately. She will be based in Singapore and report to chief broking officer Julian Coates.

Sathanart will be responsible for the growth and development of Price Forbes’ Asia-Pacific property business. She brings more than 20 years of non-life insurance experience to her new role, having previously worked in the U.S., Singapore and Thailand. Her considerable expertise in both insurance and reinsurance placements and her deep understanding of the ASEAN market will support Price Forbes’ ambitions in the region.

Previously, Suvimol was a key member of the leadership team at Direct Asia (Thailand), where she managed the underwriting and quality assurance teams. She has also held leadership roles in both underwriting and broking, having worked for Marsh, Guy Carpenter and Asian Reinsurance Corporation, and is experienced in multiple classes including property, engineering, motor, casualty and marine & energy.
