Alex Gilmore is an Executive Director of Price Forbes. He joined the company 20 years ago to form the International Division, with previous experience including seven years in Germany as well as time working for Sedgwick in London.
Alex is now responsible for the Asia Pacific regional strategy as well as continuing to oversee some major clients from that region. He also represents Price Forbes at the Worldwide Broker Network (WBN) via his voluntary Board role as Chairman.
Richard Peers is Chief Executive Officer of Price Forbes with responsibility for the Property, Professional and Financial lines, Casualty, Life Science and Healthcare teams.
Richard has over 30 years’ experience in marketing of complex North American accounts, with specialty underwriters in London, Bermuda and the USA.
Prior to the formation of Price Forbes & Partners Limited, Richard was a Board Member of Prentis Donegan & Partners, with responsibility for the Casualty team.
Richard Started his career at Sedgwick Group PLC in their claims department, progressing through to policy work, program placement and ultimately to production.
During his career he has lived and worked in the USA both as a retail and wholesale broker, and more recently lived in Bermuda where he ran the Price Forbes Bermuda office.
Paul Kearns is Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Price Forbes & Partners. Paul joined in 2006 following the acquisition of Prentis Donegan & Partners where he was a Director of Marine. Alongside his client facing and production role, Paul oversees the facilitation, market performance, broking and reinsurance strategy of the firm.
Having joined Price Forbes in September 2015, Greg is International Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for leading the strategic growth of Price Forbes on the International stage. Greg is also a member of the Price Forbes Executive Committee and sits on the Digital Board.
He has over 20 years’ experience in the London market, working as both a Lloyd’s underwriter and broker in a wide variety of specialisms. His most recent role before joining Price Forbes was Managing Director of Global Casualty at Howden.
Greg has travelled extensively for most of his career, developing and working with clients in Latin America, Europe, Scandinavia, the Middle East, Asia Pacific and parts of Africa. He has worked in the retail, wholesale, and reinsurance markets, along with building Captive solutions and the placing of their reinsurance programmes. His experience has crossed most product lines and he specialises in large, complex client solutions, including working with a number of Fortune 500 listed clients.
Mark’s specialist clinical risk management knowledge centres around medical facilities including: Acute Hospitals, Mental Health and Community health including in Primary Care.
Mark has advised various Government bodies such as, Dept of Health and Ministry of Justice, by sitting on specially convened panels and industry sector groups to advise on clinical risk and indemnity, within the UK healthcare environment and similar healthcare economies across Europe.
Mark has worked closely with the healthcare regulators assisting these bodies in reviewing and assessing clinical risk, within all aspects of Healthcare, including public, private, not for profit and charitable sectors.
Mark is a managing director of Price Forbes Healthcare and read Law at Cambridge University, where he gained an MA.
Lorraine works with healthcare providers to identify and learn from risks to improve patient safety. Her work focusses on shaping systems and processes to provide early warnings for proactive risk management. Client programmes are anchored in the principles of engagement, transparency and leveraging data. Meaningful frontline engagement, using elements of Design Thinking, has enabled clients to better understand functional and cultural issues that inhibit learning.
Lorraine has applied this in Acute, Community and Mental Health settings. She has collaborated with the Stanford Risk Authority (of Stanford University Hospitals) for more than seven years focusing on innovative risk management processes.
Lorraine has worked in healthcare for almost 20 years and is a managing director of Price Forbes Healthcare. Lorraine holds a BA in Political Science and Economics.
Andrew Walkling is Operations Director of Price Forbes & Partners Ltd and has over 30 years’ insurance market experience.
Previously, he was IT and Facilities Director at Prentis Donegan which he joined in 2000. Prior to this, Andrew was Special Projects Director, AON Group Ltd., where he was responsible for the specification and introduction of ‘e’commerce trading initiatives as well as specifying IT-based applications to help aid workflow.
Before moving to AON Group Ltd., Andrew worked at Lambert Fenchurch Group Limited (formerly Fenchurch Group), initially as a Senior Technician before he was promoted to Director when his role was extended to Office Manager.
Andrew started his career at Sedgwick Marine Brokers Ltd as a Clerical Trainee, progressing to drafting slips, and finally was involved in broker back up for reinsurance and promoted to Assistant Director.
Andrew is a Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute (FCII).
