Danny Towner strengthens Price Forbes’ US Healthcare practice

US Long Term Care expert Danny Towner has joined Price Forbes’ new US Healthcare team as a Director.
Price Forbes launched its US Healthcare practice last month with a six-strong team led by managing director Paul Voller. Based out of London the practice is focused on arranging insurance, captive reinsurance and treaty protection for clients.
Danny broadens the team’s specialisms, bringing in complementary expertise in Long Term Care as well as Allied Healthcare.
Danny has 30 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Most recently he worked at Miller, where he built a successful North American Healthcare practice. Prior to that he spent 27 years at Lloyd & Partners’ US Healthcare team.
Danny Towner commented: “The market for Long Term Care providers has hardened. Numerous domestic US carriers have started to pull back following years of cheap rates, low retentions and rising losses. This has presented an opportunity for Lloyd’s to do what it does best and provide a truly relevant marketplace for the world’s most complex and difficult risks.
