The Modern Slavery Act 2015 requires businesses of a certain size to publish a slavery and human trafficking statement each financial year and to highlight their efforts, and to address issues, if any, within their own business and supply chain.
Price Forbes is a Company of the highest ethical standards and we are committed to establishing and constantly striving to improve, systems and processes to avoid being associated with human rights violations, both within our operations and those of our supply chain.
During 2017 we will review our supply chain to verify that our suppliers commit to observing best practice when it comes to anti-slavery and human trafficking and that they are in compliance with the Modern slavery Act 2015.
Within our own business Price Forbes has on line training to ensure that all our staff are aware of the provision of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the wider issues around slavery and human trafficking. While this training is not currently mandatory, all staff are encouraged to undertake it.
We encourage anyone including employees, contractors, suppliers and clients to report in good faith any issues or concerns about potential unethical conduct, human rights, legal or regulatory violations including improper or unethical business practices such as fraud and bribery. Price Forbes has a Whistleblowing Policy that protects those raising valid concerns.
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It is directly applicable to the 2016 financial year but it will also constitute Price Forbes Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement for future years until such time as it is modified, renewed or removed from our website.
